We didn’t have a digital marketing plan, or any idea that it would help our publication in the future. The main focus was print advertising. As we progressed, the realization set in that we needed to have more of an online presence. So our digital marketing campaign was simple. We write content every month for the magazine, and it helps to boost our ranking when we post it. It isn’t as easy as it looks. To come up with fresh content on a consistent basis can take some creativity. Depending on the competition, you have to post more for a certain topic and it’s “keywords” which can be very daunting. Valley Ballyhoo has been making fresh content for years, so we know a little about making something from nothing.
