It’s time for an alternative to the drab, old news that corporate media dulls our minds with. This paper will print a conglomerate of stories from around The United States, as well as the world. The purpose is to get people talking in a time where everyone is exaggerated  with their opinion, and let sensational statements sway their intellect. Political ideologies shouldn’t polute empathy for our fellow person. We need to recognize our place in democracy and talk about topics that may be uncomfortable. Let’s be open to new ideas, with opinions from all sides. Then, we can have sound and educated arguments when we participate in this experiment we call democracy!

Its time for change!

There is also a lot to do around this valley. A person can make a weekend of just hotsprings. If you have never spent the day at Orvis hot springs and eaten Tacos and Beer afterward, this is your first recommendation from Valley Ballyhoo Newspapers. Hunting, fishing, races, festivals; we have it all! Where can a person read about Rifle Rodeos, Classical Music from CMU and Psychedelic Hip Hop from Mesa Theater? Valley Ballyhoo is going say it enthusiastically loud and proud!

The Western Slope has needed an alternative voice for a long time. Jesse Fornwalt has been in the magazine publishing industry for years, and has a trove of articles relating to adventure, music, and great times  that will now be continually catalogued online to promote all that Western Colorado has to offer. It will be the newest tourist hub for local excitement.

If someone wants to plan a trip to Rifle Falls; the topic has been covered, and they can read more extensively into the area. This goes for local venues, theaters, and yearly events that happen across the area. As we are out in the community, Valley Ballyhoo will report on the general atmosphere of  events, and people’s attitudes towards them.
